closedoor

Purpose

Use the closedoor command to close the import/export door of a tape library. This command only works for libraries that support it.

Prerequisites

You must have the right to manage devices and change device state to use the closedoor command.

Syntax

closedoor::=

close•door [ --library/-L libraryname ]

Semantics

--library/-L libraryname: Specifies the name of the library on which you want to close the door. If you do not specify a library name, then the library variable must be set.

Example

Example 2-29 closes the door of library lib1.
