This appendix explains how you can manually download the provisioning Deployment Procedure-specific prerequisites from My Oracle Support when Enterprise Manager Grid Control does not have connectivity to My Oracle Support or has firewall settings that prevent it from connecting to My Oracle Support.
In particular, this appendix covers the following:
Table J-1 shows the URL from where you can download the prerequisite-specific ZIP file for each of the platforms, and how you must rename the downloaded ZIP file. Note that downloading the ZIP file from My Oracle Support requires My Oracle Support credentials. After downloading and renaming the ZIP file, upload the ZIP file to Oracle Software Library (Software Library) as described in Uploading Prerequisites to Oracle Software Library.

After downloading and renaming the prerequisite-specific ZIP file, upload the ZIP file to the Software Library. To do so, follow these steps:
In Grid Control, click Deployments, then Provisioning.
On the Provisioning page, in the Components tab, from the table, expand Oracle Components.
Expand CVU Prerequisite-fixup components.
Expand the platform for which you want to upload the prerequisite-specific ZIP file. For example, linux_x64
for Linux x64 platform-specific ZIP file, or all_platforms
for generic ZIP file.
Under the platform you expanded, select CVU OSD Prerequisite-Fixup component. If you expanded all_platforms, then select CVU Generic Prerequisite-Fixup component.
Click Edit.
On the Edit Component page, click the Upload File tab and upload the prerequisite-specific ZIP file.
After uploading the ZIP file, click Finish.
On the Provisioning page, in the Components tab, from the table, locate the row corresponding to your upload, and ensure that is still selected. For example, if you uploaded a ZIP file to CVU Generic Prerequisite-Fixup component, which is under all_platforms, then ensure that CVU Generic Prerequisite-Fixup component is still selected.
You will see that the Status column for this component shows Incomplete, and the Maturity column shows Untested.
Click Promote. The Maturity column shows Beta.
Click Promote again. The Maturity column now shows Production.
