This is a text description of asoag025.gif, which illustrates the Entrust authentication process as follows:
The Entrust user on the Oracle client establishes a secure connection with the server using SSL and Entrust credentials, stored in the user's Entrust profile (Entrust Entelligence).
The Oracle SSL adapter on the Oracle server communicates with the Entrust Authority to check the certificate revocation status of the Entrust user. The Oracle server must also have credentials, which are stored in the server's Entrust profile (unattended login).
