TRACEFILEUNIT

(Read-only) The TRACEFILEUNIT option records the unit number of the Oracle trace file which is a writable output file that collects information about the activity in the Oracle session.

Use of the TRACEFILEUNIT Value

The unit number stored in the TRACEFILEUNIT option can be useful because you might want to set the POUTFILEUNIT option to its value. You might also set the OUTFILE or DBGOUTFILE options to this number.
