Importing Grants

To import the privileges that a user has granted to others, the user initiating the import must either own the objects or have object privileges with the WITH GRANT OPTION. Table 23-2 shows the required conditions for the authorizations to be valid on the target system.

Table 23-2 Privileges Required to Import Grants

Grant Conditions

Grant	Conditions
Object privileges	The object must exist in the user's schema, or the user must have the object privileges with the `WITH GRANT OPTION` or, the user must have the `IMP_FULL_DATABASE` role enabled.
System privileges	User must have the `SYSTEM` privilege and also the `WITH ADMIN OPTION.`

Object privileges

The object must exist in the user's schema, or

the user must have the object privileges with the WITH GRANT OPTION or,

the user must have the IMP_FULL_DATABASE role enabled.

System privileges

User must have the SYSTEM privilege and also the WITH ADMIN OPTION.
