Rule-based Classification Example

In this example, we gather news articles on different subjects and then classify them.

Once our rules are created, we can index them and then use the MATCHES statement to classify documents.

Perform the following steps to classify documents.

• Step 1 Create schema

• Step 2 Load Documents with SQLLDR

• Step 3 Create Categories

• Step 4 Create the CTXRULE index

• Step 5 Classify Documents
